Harkin to visit Coralville to discuss Chicago Flyer, economy and health care

IOWA CITY (June 3, 2009) – The Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce will host U.S. Senator Tom Harkin at a Legislative Coffee at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6 at the Coralville Public Library (Meeting room A), 1401 5th St. Coralville. Senator Harkin will field questions about federal funding for the Area Chamber’s Chicago Flyer passenger rail initiative, the economy and health care reform. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions regarding other congressional session highlights.

The public is invited to attend this complimentary event. Coffee and doughnuts will be served.
